A method and an apparatus for manufacturing separable sliding clasp fasteners, from a continuous fastener having the interlocking elements made of thermoplastic material. The two male parts of the separating device of one fastener, the two top stops of another fastener, the support-strips reinforcements along these male parts and stops, and a opening for introducing a sliding clasp are simultaneously manufactured by: introducing the two uncoupled and spaced halves of a continuous fastener into a mold, injecting in the latter a melted thermoplastic material solidifying the thermoplastic material and cutting a part of the solidified material to form the said male parts, stops and opening. The apparatus comprises a mold consisting of a lower half-mold and an upper half-mold each comprising an outer fixed part and a central part perpendicularly movable to this fixed part. The line of contact of these two parts presents the form of the contour of the part of the solidified material to be cut by the displacement of the movable part of the lower half-mold.

A device for making a zipper is known, comprising a mold consisting of upper and lower half-shapes having central openings with a width exceeding the width of the connecting links, and channels for accommodating carrier tapes and chains of the connecting links of the fastener of thermoplastic material with a length exceeding the length of the slider fasteners, paired with the central holes, and having partitions in the places of mating, and the source of supply of the working medium [1].
A disadvantage of the known device is the duration of the manufacture of the fastener.
The purpose of the invention is the reduction of time for the manufacture of fasteners.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for manufacturing a zipper, comprising a mold consisting of upper and lower half-molds having central holes with a width exceeding the width of the connecting links 30, and channels for accommodating the carrier tapes and chains of the connecting links of the fastener from thermoplastic material with a length exceeding the length of the slider fasteners mated with central holes and having partitions in the places of conjugation, and a medium supply medium, the lower half-mold is provided with an insert located in with the central hole with the possibility of movement, while the lower surface of the insert is at the level of the lower surface of the mold, and a piston connected to a source of supply of the working medium under pressure, located in the Central hole of the mold directly under the insert, while the cross section of the insert corresponds to the contour of the removal part thermoplastic material and a shared carrier tape, and the upper half-mold is equipped with an additional spring-loaded insert part installed in its central hole.

The device comprises a mold consisting of a lower half 1 and upper half half having a central hole with a width exceeding the width of the connecting links 3 and 4. The lower half mold 1 is provided with an insert 5 located in its central hole with the possibility of movement i The outer surface of the insert 5 is located at the level of the lower surface of the half-mold 1. The upper half-mold 2 is equipped with an additional spring-loaded spring 6 of the insert 15 part 7 installed in its central hole. The half-molds 1 are centered by the center ruyuschih openings 8 and 9 and the pins 10.
On the lower half-mold 1, 20 reinforced parts 11, 12, 13 and 14 of the carrier tapes 15 and 16 are made. The lower half-mold 1 contains two parallel channels 17 and 18 for accommodating the carrier tapes 15 and 16 and chains of connecting links 25 and 4 of the fastener made of thermoplastic material with length exceeding the length of the slider fastener. Channels 17 and 18 have, in conjunction with the partition, partitions 19, 20, 21 and 22.
The insert 5 has a contour consisting of Parts 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27, 28. Parts 27 and 28 are in the form of a cutout for introducing the slider 29.
In the chamber 30 located under the insert there is a piston 31 provided with & sealing rings 32 and 33. The chamber 30 is connected to a source of supply of a working medium (not shown in the drawings).
Between the shoulder 34 of the plug-in part 40 and the shoulder 35 of the upper half-mold 2, springs 6 are described which tend to keep the upper half-mold in the lower position defined by the stop of the ring 36, in which its lower surface is at the level of the lower surface of the upper half-mold 2. Insert part 7 has a channel 37 for injecting molten thermoplastic material into the mold. jq Inset 5 secures Injector 38.
An ejector 39 is mounted in the lower half-mold 1 with the possibility of sliding through the lower half-mold 1 and insert 5. __
When lifting the upper mold half 55 2, two disconnected halves of the carrier tapes 15, 16 with connecting links 3, 4 are laid on the lower mold half 1 so that the length of the tape 15 is on top of the reinforced parts 11 '60 and 13, a. a piece of tape 16 is over the reinforced parts 12 and 14, and a number of connecting links 3 and 4 are in the channel 17 and 18. Then the mold is closed and 65 molten thermoplastic material is injected through the channel 36, penetrating the reinforced parts 11, 12, 13 and 14 and vg channels 17 and 18. After the injected material has hardened, a working jet is introduced into the chamber 30, moving the piston 31 and, therefore, the inserts 5 and the insert part 7 connected by the cured material. During the movement, the insert 5 edges cuts off part of the casting and the carrier tape.
After removing the pressure of the working jet, the insert 5 and the insert part 7 are returned to their original position under the action of the springs 6.
The cut off part of the casting located between the insert 5 and the insert part 7 remains connected to the insert 5 because of the injector 38, from which it is then separated by the ejector 39.
Figure 5 shows that each carrier tape has inserted parts
40, 41, two reinforced parts 42, 43, 44 and 45 and upper stops 46, 47. The shape of each of the inserted parts 40,
41, defined by the wall 48 of the channel | 17 and the wall 49 of the channel 18, the partition 19 of the channel 18 and the partition 21 of the channel 18 and the parts 23, 24 of the insert

The shape of each of the upper stops and 47 is determined by part 50 of the channel 17 and part 51 of the channel 18, the partition 20 of the channel 17 and the partition 22 of the channel 18 and the parts 25 and 26 of the insert 5. The length and width of the cutout for installing the slider in place is determined by parts 27 and 28 inserts 5. The inserted parts 40 and 41 of the carrier tapes 15 and 16, covered by part 52 and reinforced parts 44 and 42, are separated from the lower part containing the stops 4 6 and 47 and the slider 29, by cutting in two places to remove the segments 53 and 54.
Figure 6 shows that the part to be removed from the male part 52 is part 40, and the insert part 41 is integrally formed with the male part 52.
